Comments: "A stunning swim course (especially for right-breathers) that is sadly undermined by the unprofessional, borderline incompetent event management of Timmy Garrett. It's astonishing no one has died on this swim. Do yourself a favour, hire a pilot and swim it solo. Also I notice Timmy has become a "WOWSA certified event" in 2024, which is a laughable joke. WOWSA is a for-profit American company that knows nothing of Australia or marathon swimming. Swimmers should demand that their entry fees are not diverted to this scam."
