Cliff Backyard Ultra Swim

The Cliff Backyard Ultra Swim is a max-distance format race held in Wellington Lake, Colorado, and founded by Karl Kingery and Sarah Thomas in 2018. Modeled on "backyard ultra" running races, swimmers complete a 1.5-mile loop course every hour - until they quit or are no longer able. The winner is the "Last to Fail" - who must then complete one final lap to end the race.
